There is nothing more beautiful than a simple pine tree silhouette along the creek that is headed for the lake or marsh. Everyone should have that perfect spot to just rest their mind and soul.
This piece is in a barn wood frame that is 27″x15″
100% hand made, starting with all natural colored fluffy wool and bamboo fiber that reflects light in the sky. I lay all the fiber out and then it goes through a wet felting process, and the details are poked in with a felting needle. I then quilt the details with a sewing machine. Zoom in to see it better. In person, you can really see the depth and character that the quilting brings to it.
