These ladies are ready to romance you everyday! Iris are northern orchids and the love affair with orchids has captured us all! A beautiful piece perfect for over your couch, your bed, fireplace or that wall that just needs to be loved.
The picture is framed in salvaged trim from Peoria, Il Measures 16″ X 19″
This piece is 100% hand made, starting with hand dyed fluffy wool and SILK that goes through a wet felting process, and the details are poked in with a felting needle. The silk is the shiny squiggly parts to the flowers. When I worked with the silk I thought it would make beautiful Iris. Indeed it has! I then quilt the details with a sewing machine. Zoom in to see it better. In person, you can really see the depth and character that the quilting brings to it.
