This piece is in a barn wood frame that is 20.5″x22.5″
100% hand made, starting with hand dyed fluffy wool and bamboo fiber that reflects light in the sky. I lay all the fiber out and then it goes through a wet felting process, and the details are poked in with a felting needle. I then quilt the details with a sewing machine. Zoom in to see it better. In person, you can really see the depth and character that the quilting brings to it.
