This wonderful tote is beautiful, organic and sturdy!

 Great to take with you to the library, store, kids games, traveling, that is, everywhere!  Why hang  artwork on the wall when you can bring it with you?!    Best yet, the compliments are endless AND it can be thrown in the washer!

I made a big bag for myself and decided that was it, that it was too much work to produce and sell.  But I had so many people stopping me and asking where I got it and do I make them and sell them, I made 10 bags.

Have you heard the term “Carpet Bag”?  It indicates a sturdy bag that never wears out.  This is the most beautiful form of carpet bag you will ever see.

• Completely hand made starting from fluffy hand dyed sheep wool!  I
• Created the felt by a wet felting method.  I then poke tiny colored wool fibers with a special needle to create the details of the picture.
• The picture really takes on detail and depth when I quilt stitch over the details and designs with my sewing machine.
• I cut out the pieces and sew the bag together, multiple times, using upholstery thread.
• Then… I throw it into the washer!!  Yes!  It tightens everything down to ensure a solid tote.

If you need to wash it.  Just put it in your washer on gentle/cold with a few drops of laundry detergent and wash!  Reshape and AIR dry.
