“Rural Austin” SOLD

Description

I made this piece as a demo in a workshop in Austin Tx.  I love how the fluffy black merged up into the sunset colors and it made me feel like it was the grasses on the hill sides out on the country roads.  The white clouds are made with bamboo fiber and adds a lovely luster to this piece.

The felted piece is velcroed onto a brown matt in a wooden frame.

100% hand made, starting with hand dyed fluffy wool.  I lay all the fiber out and then it goes through a wet felting process, and the details are poked in with a felting needle.
